Louis is a modern day slavery activist that works with enslaved woman in the Washington D.C. Area. Louis does not get paid for his work. He does it because he's a good person and he knows what it feels how these people suffer because he lived in Cambodia as a child and was treated poorly as well. Louis has spent tons of money and decreased relationship statuses with people that he knows to help these poor women in need. 35% of the freed slaves in the US have been freed by independent workers like Louis. He started his impact when he saw Cameroonians forced to work in a store one Thanksgiving day. He met one girl and took her free. She helped him get in contact with the other girls working there and got them free as well. He let some of these girls stay at his home until they were stable enough to live on their own. What Louis has done for these girls, has not only affected their lives, but has inspired many, many people to attempt to do what Louis does to free slaves today.
